Simple Pastured Pork- Whole Hog Deposit
Pastured pork is both healthy and delicious. Because commercial pigs have been bred to be extremely lean, our pastured pork seems richer by comparison. Once you try pastured pork you’ll be able to tell the difference.
We raise Tamworth pigs. We have chosen this breed because Tamworths are leaner and provide a greater quantity of bacon. They are also great foragers and are docile, which is important to us because our little farm also serves as our homestead.
Pigs are omnivores, just like us. They do better with a varied and balanced diet. We accomplish this by keeping our pigs on pasture and woodland and also by providing supplemental calories in the form of locally milled non-GMO feed.
Our animals naturally live in good, healthy environments.
